LAW ENFORCEMENT SALES & TRAINING

  COLT DEFENSE IS PROVIDING ASSORTED TACTICAL AND FIREARMS TRAINING FOR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY.  JIM MARKOWSKI, DIRECTOR, LAW ENFORCEMENT SALES & TRAINING WILL COORDINATE ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING.  

JIM IS A RETIRED SPECIAL AGENT WITH THE BUREAU OF ATF.  HE RETIRED AS THE DIVISION TACTICAL ADVISOR – BOSTON FIELD DIVISION.  HE WAS A MEMBER OF ATF’S SPECIAL RESPONSE TEAM PROGRAM FOR FIFTEEN YEARS.  HE RETIRED FROM ATF AFTER A 33-YEAR PRODUCTIVE CAREER.  

ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING INSTRUCTORS WILL BE EXPERIENCED REAL WORLD OPERATORS FROM BOTH LAW ENFORCEMENT (SWAT) AND MILITARY (Special Ops) BACKGROUNDS.

HIGH RISK ENTRIES/TACTICAL MOVEMENT COURSE

 STRENGTHS OF THIS COURSE:

  • The knowledge of the instructors and the fact you really involve the students for input.  Real world knowledge of instructors.
  • Force on force adds a realistic feel to training that is as close to real life as possible.
  • Instructors possessed loads of experience and different styles brought lots to the training.
  • Excellent teambuilding and different approaches to resolve tactical problems.
  • Different methods of clearing were very helpful.  Looking at different ways to use tactics.
  • Info from this training can also be utilized in a military mission.
  • Instructor abilities to be open to other ideas.
  • Many reps at room clearing.
  • Big help with our room tactics as 3-4 man teams.
  • Making students aware of surroundings and other possible suspects or threats.

  • There is a good portion of this course pertaining to active shooter scenario.  This ties in with current Department training.
